My eyes hurt a little. How about yours? Also, all I can think of today is Lynda Barry at her lecture yesterday bellowing, "HOLY BALLS; HOLY BALLS." Not a bad thing, really. Not at all.

I like it...but I have to admit there is something about the other version I liked, too. fewer holy balls, maybe?

There is at least one visible ball, actually. I snuck it in there.
The other one you saw was a WIP, not a finish. This was what I wanted it to look like the whole time. I should, in the future, try and be more brave about using flat color instead of painty-paintyness. I think that's the main difference between the two and probably the missing element you were looking for in this one. Next time!
ehhhhhh, I know it was sketch. But hey! My stuff is sketchy all the time, so I'm probably just in sketchy mode!
