Oh, God, my eyes!

I'm not sure how I feel about the color version. I definitely went NUTS with the Lisa Frank neons. Also, I've spent most of my digital career wondering how get color halftone, but now that I figured it out (thanks to a tutorial in the back of Spider Man Loves Mary Jane) I don't know how I want to use it or how much... I think it's definitely something to be used sparingly, but I have a hard time. It's like lens flares. If I didn't censor myself, there'd be a lens flare on every single surface. Even at night. In a power outage. Inside a black hole.

I think Colin's right - I like the less saturated version best.

Perhaps you're right. I was just looking at this and then back at that Rossbach container, and I realized just how far I traveled from my original influence. Not saying I don't want it to be a little poppy, but yeah, reeling it in might be a good idea.

Hmm, I don't know that I'd even back off all the saturation - mainly just the reds. Maybe the magenta a tad too, but not as much.

cute. i like seeing halftone used sparingly as well. ie: only in the shadowed parts. or only highlighted parts. pick. i think that would make a huge different for example on the horse tail. but it looks like you did it in other parts so i dono.

i miss you.
